Composer and pianist, Laura Benoit took her first steps in music from an early age alongside her mother, pianist and piano teacher. Laura Benoit shows from its six aptitude for music, which have naturally led her to music school of Auch.

At the age of 12, she composed her first piano piece. This event marks the beginning of a long series of compositions for voice and piano that will enable her to develop her style as well as a large  sensitivity  for artistic creation .

Laura Benoit continued her musical studies at the University of Toulouse II Jean Jaurès where she obtained a degree in musicology brilliantly. During this last, Laura Benoit composed several pieces for a musical ensemble consisting of all the musicology students, that she will conduct during a concert.

Laura Benedict finishes her studies in musicology research master on the theme of music at the French court of  Henry IV. In parallel, she prepares the entrance exam to MAAAV (Applied music for Visual Arts) in Lyon. During her studies, Laura Benoit composed for many short films, video games, as well as animated films that prove to be her preferred medium.

Laura Benedict invites us to travel in a colorful musical world that mixes sumptuous themes accompanied by harmonies almost magical contours, all orchestrated with great mastery. Her musical universe consists of a wide range of sounds ranging from acousmatic music (electronic), through a mastery of melody and harmony inscribing in the romantic post current and affinity Italian minimalism.

Very admiring of the work of Franz Schubert and Ludovico Einaudi, Laura Benoit has found a balance between the style of the great masters of the past and the composers opening music to modernity.
